Christmas in July is one of our key dates in our annual Operation Christmas Child campaign. This year, we will celebrate in both services on July 20th.
For those that missed the opportunity for family photos in May, we have been granted one makeup day (July 7th) to capture the pictures of anyone who would like to be part of our church family directory.
Children and youth are invited to help paint walls in Mr. Bill’s classroom at 10:00 am on Sunday, June 29th.
“Block Party: Building God’s Community” is now available to everyone. Share it with friends and family, classmates and teammates, neighbors and new acquaintances. It is FREE to everyone, preschool through middle school. We will be gathering from 5:45 until 8:00 p.m. on August 3 through 6 in the Sewickley UMC Simpson Room.

The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center is having an exclusive presentation of “The Piano Lesson” on Thursday, June 19th, at 7:15 pm in collaboration with the Sewickley Community Center’s Juneteenth Committee.

Every Saturday morning, Northside Food Pantry Advisors sponsors a free produce distribution to help ensure nutritional security to Northview Heights, a neighborhood in need.
Our Spanish classes are going very well. We are meeting weekly and we have a very nice group.
In case you didn't know… The B&M team is made up of church members who volunteer their time and skills to oversee the maintenance, upkeep, and improvements in the church building, the parsonage, and grounds.

On Tuesday, June 24th at 5:00 pm, Ed Bailey of the UM Foundation will be leading a program appropriate for everyone who has property and/or assets, including families with minor children, single people, and senior citizens.
The Sewickley UMC vacation Bible school team is in gathering mode ahead of our “Block Party: Building God’s Community” VBS, which will be held from August 3 through August 6.
We learn to care and share through our “lovables,” so we are designating June as “Lovables” month at SUMC. Please consider joining us as we attempt to fill the lovables bin in our OCC room.

As we continue to care for the Immigration Community, a member of Casa San Jose will be leading a “Know Your Rights” training in the Simpson room on Monday, June 2nd, at 6:30 p.m.
Beginning June 9th at 6:00 pm, there will be a New Members Class offered via Zoom and/or in person. The class will run every Monday through July 14th with new members being received on July 20th at both services.
