Block Party: Building God’s Community” is now available to everyone. Share it with friends and family, classmates and teammates, neighbors and new acquaintances. It is FREE to everyone, preschool through middle school. We will be gathering from 5:45 until 8:00 p.m. on August 3 through 6 in the Sewickley UMC Simpson Room. St. Luke’s Lutheran and St. Matthews AME Zion churches are, as always, our VBS partners. We will be sharing the building blocks of His Community: love, courage, commitment, action, kindness, inclusion, learning, sharing, teamwork… and we’re hoping those will be the blocks your kids use to build community when the new school year starts.

There is no registration deadline, but it helps the team to know who will be joining us. Preschoolers must be potty-trained. Volunteers, youth, and adults are welcome.

The middle-schoolers (entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grades) will follow a separate path from the grade school children. Felicity and Johnathan are planning youth group-style projects, games, and teaching in an inviting format that allows friendships (old and new) to grow. We know middle-schoolers need to learn, connect, and serve in new ways. See Felicity or Johnathan for more insights.
