Please join us on Sunday, August 8th, at 4:00 pm for the Voces Solis choral chamber music concert here at SUMC. Founded in 2011, Summer Singers is committed to bringing together musicians, teachers, and lovers of choral music to share in the art and fellowship of choral singing.
Starting Friday, August 16th, we will be gathering with our neighbors from the Latino Community for a time of food, fellowship, and education.
Our next meeting will take place Thursday, March 7, at 9:30 am. We will meet again at the Faith House next to the Presbyterian Church
Our sister church, St. Matthews AME Zion, is hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast Saturdays in February, 8:00 am to noon.
Join us on January 14th as we recognize and remember the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the work that he did alongside so many others.

On December 10th, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, at 4:00 pm, there will be an advent concert featuring music from several Sewickley area church musicians, including our Clocktower Ringers!

Baldwin Community UMC (5001 Baptist Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236) is hosting a FREE Community Thanksgiving on November 18th from 2:00 - 5:00 pm in Asbury Hall.
On December 1st, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, we will once again be celebrating Light Up Night and opening our sanctuary to visitors!

Pittsburgh Peace is Possible Coalition is hosting an interfaith peace concert on October 1, 2023, at 2:00 pm at First UMC to celebrate the International Day of Peace, recognized on September 21st.
Mignon McVicker Emmert passed away peacefully on July 8, 2023, in Louisville, Kentucky, where she had lived since 2009. She was a month shy of being 102.
We’ve received several letters of thanks for our nurturing and outreach activities.
Sunday at 4:00 pm, a community worship service and picnic hosted by the congregations of St. Matthews AME Zion, St. Paul’s Lutheran, Sewickley United Methodist, and Sewickley Presbyterian will be on the lawn of the Faith House located at Sewickley Presbyterian.
SUMC has been very active in our community and connectionally around the world in the past month. Our generosity has been noticed, and we’ve received messages of thanks.
