Sunday at 4:00 pm, a community worship service and picnic hosted by the congregations of St. Matthews AME Zion, St. Paul’s Lutheran, Sewickley United Methodist, and Sewickley Presbyterian will be on the lawn of the Faith House located at Sewickley Presbyterian. SUMC folks are asked to bring side dishes and desserts. Be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. All kids, youth, and adults who attend school or volunteer or work in an education setting are welcome to bring a school related item with them to be blessed and receive a blessing themselves. This includes those on the home front as well. We’ve got your back! Whether you are connected to one of these congregations or not, the service and picnic are open to everyone.
