I wanted to take a moment to share a quick update on our church finances as we’ve wrapped up the first quarter of 2026.
Elle McNicoll is a neurodivergent Scottish author who lives in London. This is her first novel for kids. The story is about a 12-year-old girl named Addie who has autism living in a small town in Scotland.

The Children’s Church kids will be planting flowers around the church on May 17th during both services.
Participants will meet Saturday, May 9th, at Osborne Elementary at 9:00 am for sign in.
The Sewickley Community Food Pantry has special need for ketchup, relish, mayo (small jars), and salt & pepper. They are also getting low on pancake mix and syrup and canned pastas, such as Spaghetti-Os.
June is Pride Month, and there are many opportunities for you to help SUMC be represented at different events!
Join the Witness Committee as we take an evening to center ourselves in Jesus’s greatest commandment: to love God with our whole selves and to love our neighbor as our self.
