On November 16, SUMC will observe Student Day and accept donations to support scholarships for United Methodist students who need financial help in achieving their educational goals.
The Home Goods Community Closet has had a steady flow of persons in need. It will be open to the public every first Saturday of the month from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Our church is excited to launch a new community concert series presented by the Charles Wesley Music Foundation, a new nonprofit formed to support and grow our church’s music ministries while expanding our reach into the community through the arts.

Sunday, November 2, is the International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians. I invite you to pray that day, and throughout the month of November, for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ.
United Women in Faith will meet today in the Simpson Room after the Traditional Service. We will finish by 1:00 pm for those who wish to attend the Annual Church Conference.
As we dress the basement classrooms in Haunted House gear, we will gather upstairs for Children’s Church during both worship services for the remainder of October.
