When I reached out to a member of his Sunday School group here at SUMC, she had described him as a spirit that was larger than this life. He had joined their Sunday School group a few years back and he immediately lit up the room. Murch always had a story, and those stories (usually about his childhood in the Bronx and his liquor store in Brooklyn) were epic. We are grateful the Holy Spirit connected us to Murch King. We will miss him immensely.
