Throughout January, we will continue to assemble snack packs for children who participate in learning programs at The Bridge/Hub in Northview Heights and blessing bags for the homeless who are served by the Daily Bread ministry on Pittsburgh’s North Side.
Human Relations Day is a denomination-wide Special Sunday designed to celebrate and raise awareness to further the development of better human relations by involving congregations in community and youth outreach.

The funeral service for Lyric Keys and Jack Wylde Lightner is planned for Wednesday, December 21, at 11 am, followed by a luncheon in the Simpson Room.

Sewickley UMC is collecting Thanksgiving Bags for the food pantry. You are asked to take a bag, purchase the non-perishable items, and return the filled bag with the list attached.

Fellowship of the Cross will be selling Christmas ornaments, nativity sets, jewelry, and stocking stuffers from a tree in the rear of the sanctuary. We will be there before, between, and after worship services. 100% of the proceeds from our sale are returned to Ornaments 4 Orphans.
A generous couple in the Pittsburgh District have made a challenge grant to TNC: They will match every dollar we raise up to $25,000, which means we can receive $50,000 if we “meet the match.”
Colder weather is approaching. Please consider contributing soup, stews, pancake mix, oatmeal, and other hearty foods so that local families can have warm meals this fall.
