I share the sad news that Atleah Grubb has passed away. In recent years, she was unable to attend SUMC in person. However, prior to her failing health, she was a vital member of SUMC and a joy to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Our tradition is to deliver gift bags to the shut-in members of our church family for Christmas. The Woman’s Sharing Group is collecting contributions through Sunday, December 4.
Consider exploring your relationship with God by working with a Spiritual Companion. Pastor Dora J. Odarenko is beginning her third year of training to be a spiritual companion, and is currently under supervision. She is now welcoming clients, pro bono.

We are looking for those who will be graduating from high school and college. We will honor them during the worship services on June 12th.
The SUMC monthly prayer gathering will be held at 10 am on May 11 in the parlor. All are invited.

The funeral for Rev. Marilyn Evans will be held at Sewickley UMC on Saturday, April 2, at 11 am.
Olmsted, a UM retreat center, is excited to once again welcome the young-at-heart for a weekend of fellowship and renewal with beautiful surroundings and comfortable accommodations for the perfect time away with peers.

We, with Pastor Hannah's encouragement, have launched a monthly, Tuesday morning, prayer group. Our next gathering will be March 8, time to be determined, in the church parlor.
When someone in our church family is facing a difficult or challenging time (sickness, death, new baby, etc.), our Meal Ministry volunteers provide meals.
A memorial service for Bola will be held here at Sewickley UMC on Saturday, December 18th, at 11 am. The service will also be available via Zoom at for those unable to attend in person.
