As a newspaper person, I always loved writing and researching anniversary stories. One year, five years, 25 years… there is value in reflection. We have opportunities to acknowledge and reflect on two summer anniversaries.

There is much to be thankful for!
We would like to thank and applaud everyone who contributed love and energy to the nursery, Children’s Church and the Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday in April.
Twenty families enjoyed full Easter dinners thanks to the generous donations of food bags and cash for grocery gift cards.
I would like to thank the Witness Committee and everyone (I counted 37) who attended the “Community Prayer Gathering: Racial Justice” event on the church lawn.
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who helped support or attended the Longest Night Prayer Vigil in December.
Many notes of thanks for what our church members are doing both within and outside our walls.
There is much to be thankful for.

Our Pumpkin Patch has come to an end, and what a season it has been! We have finished off with a record breaking year, and it could not have been done without you.
