Thank you, church family, for your continued generosity and support. Here’s a look at how our finances shaped up in July:
Giving & Income
Our Envelope Giving totaled $15,511.65, which was slightly below our monthly goal. Plate Offerings were also a bit under expectations. That said, we were encouraged to see Friends of SUMC contributions come in well above budget, reminding us how support comes in many forms—regular giving, one-time gifts, and unexpected generosity.
Spending & Expenses
On the expense side, we remained under budget in key areas, including pastoral compensation and connectional apportionments. These savings help us stay on solid footing.
You may notice that Facilities & Equipment spending was higher than usual this month. That’s because we paid property taxes for the parsonage in July, even though they were budgeted for August. This will balance out in the next report.
Gratitude
On behalf of the Leadership Board, thank you for your ongoing faithfulness. Every dollar given helps us continue the work God has called us to do—from worship and outreach to care and community. Your gifts sustain not just the building, but the ministries and people within it.
With gratitude,
Chad Wolfe, Treasurer
