As soon as we opened a window to the future, we began hearing glorious echoes from the past.
The children and youth ministry team is trying something new on Mother’s Day this year: a combined service at 10:00 am on May 11.
We are starting to prepare for Mother’s Day, and we want you to be a part of the service!

There was, for at least one morning, an energy, an intention, an attitude swirling in the SUMC sanctuary.
The Children’s Church, May 14, 11:00 am service will be cancelled so that our children can be with their mothers and celebrate in a special way (shhhhh)!
Please plan to join us to celebrate Mother’s Day with an outdoor Mother’s Day Sing-along at SUMC on Saturday, May 15th , 2:30 pm, in the SUMC parking lot with music, refreshments, fun, and fellowship.

The Fellowship of the Cross needs children and youth to help film a video that will be included in the Mother’s Day services on May 13. We will meet in the Simpson Room at 11 am, this Sunday, April 8. Outdoor scenes, and possibly some indoor scenes, will be filmed at 11, and additional scenes will be filmed in the sanctuary at the conclusion of the 11 am service. The young actors will likely be involved from 11 am until 1 pm. They should come dressed for the outdoors. See Bill Utterback or any member of the FOTC team for more information.
