Growth Groups
Their first gathering will be on Thursday, June 18th, at 10:00 am for brunch at Jenny Lee’s Breakfast Nook.
Not everything that Jesus says leaves us feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. What does he really mean when he tells us to hate our families, act as if we were slaves, or sell all our belongings and give it to the poor?
The Young Adult Group will meet next on May 31st. They will gather in the Simpson Room after the second service and decide on a place for lunch together.

The Men’s Ministry, Tuesday Night Growth Group, Spanish Class, and Young Adult Group are all continuing to meet regularly, with updated times, locations, or schedules, and all invite participation from the church community.
There will be no Growth Group meeting on Tuesday, April 7th or 14th. We will gather together again on April 21st in the Simpson Room at 6:00 pm.
“Men Together” has changed location and will now gather in the Church Library.
Our next meeting will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 10:00 am at the Carnegie Coffee Company. Join us for coffee, Bible study, and a time to connect.

Join us on Tuesday nights beginning January 20th in the Simpson Room from 6:00–8:00 pm for this “discussion-based curriculum that explores the biblical narrative of justice throughout the whole of scripture.”

The Sewickley United Methodist Church Crochet Club is starting a new ministry project, making soap sacks for Pittsburgh-area homeless and women’s shelters.
Men Together will be a Saturday morning gathering from 9:00 to 10:15 am, rooted and grounded in our relationship with Jesus and one another.
Beginning Tuesday, November 25th, we will gather in the Simpson Room at 6:00 pm to go through this year’s Advent study, What Do You Fear?
Have you wondered about heaven and hell? Beginning Tuesday, June 17th, we will be reading C.S. Lewis’s book, The Great Divorce. Join us from 6:00–8:00 pm weekly as we engage this topic with lively and open conversation.
Join us beginning Tuesday, January 21st, at 6:00 pm as we begin a new study on the book of Job. However, there is a twist(er) involved in this study. The study is called Oz, Uz and Us.
Our Tuesday evening Bible study group will begin again on January 7th at 6:00 pm in the Simpson Room.
Beginning on November 26th and ending on December 17th, we will gather in the Simpson Room at 6:00 pm to walk with each other through this advent season and let the birth of Christ encourage us yet again.
