The Pumpkin Patch is back and is in full swing. This is SUMC’s 25th year of running the Pumpkin Patch, and we couldn’t be more excited to fill our church lawn with autumn splendor and to share it with all of you. The Pumpkin Patch opened on September 19th and will be open every day until October 31st. With the Pumpkin Patch being open every day, we need more volunteers than ever to keep this vital fundraiser going. Volunteering at the patch is easy, and there is no heavy lifting required. You can sign up to volunteer by going to the Sign Up Genius website. October is just beginning, and there are PLENTY of available time slots still open. If you do not feel comfortable signing up online, you can let Elizabeth know at 304–544–1809.
Our 2nd Pumpkin Unloading will be on October 10th at 9:00 am. This will only be a half truck load this time, but we could still use your help! We will be refreshing our stock of pumpkins and ornamentals to our patch. The signup sheet is in the back of the Sanctuary. We hope to see you there.
