Did you know that our library has a section titled, For Parents? These children’s books were selected to help adults address and explore sensitive topics with the children in their lives. They include divorce, death of a pet, gender identity, and grief. “A Hug from Heaven,” by Anna Whiston-Donaldson is full of lovely illustrations and validates a child’s feelings and responses to the death of a loved one.
