The 19th annual SUMC Haunted House is coming soon and is looking for some fresh blood… I mean volunteers! Find out more about our creepy tradition, and why a church is even hosting a haunted house, at our volunteer meeting on Sunday, October 4th at 10:00 am in the Simpson Room. We encourage everyone to come learn more about this unique opportunity to welcome our community into our space. Please come help with decorating on Saturday, October 10 from 10:00 am–3:00 pm (after pumpkin unloading), Sunday, October 11 from noon–3:00 pm, Saturday, October 17 from 10:00 am–3:00 pm, and Sunday, October 18 from noon–3:00 pm. The Haunted House runs Fridays & Saturdays, October 23, 24, 30 & 31 from 7:00–9:00 pm. There is a wide variety of jobs, so everyone can participate in some way from decorating, babysitting, and behind the scenes roles, to fully made up creepers.
