NO WAY! I am pretty sure no one would ever describe me as submissive. Even hearing this phrase used regarding heavenly wisdom hits me with a certain amount of tension. How is heavenly wisdom submissive? As a description that is meant to help us understand God’s character and the way God engages with the world submissive typically doesn’t even make the list. Yet, James calls heavenly wisdom submissive. How is Sophia submissive too?
