Uncle Kracker once sang these awesome lyrics: “Give me the beat, boys, and free my soul, I wanna get lost in your rock n’ roll and drift away.” Who hasn’t wanted to just drift away? As problems, trials, and expectations continue to pummel our lives, sometimes drifting away seems like a good answer. Though we end up finding out, the problem is often us, and we can’t seem to escape it. Jesus is our anchor that keeps us tethered, bound, and able to see “the light through the pourin’ rain.”
