This one word can carry with it such a heavy burden, yet when it is done, the burden is light. To repent is to turn from something you know to be wrong and to turn toward God. Prayer can be a form of repentance, but it is only the beginning. The words must turn into deeds, but prayer can be the vehicle through which we find the strength to do what needs to be done. Repent and believe.
