The Luncheon Committee is offering monthly meals, dine in or takeout, your choice. Each meal is $10.

The handbell choir will begin rehearsals on Thursday, September 9, from 6:15- 7:15 pm in the sanctuary, masks required. We are always looking for substitute ringers for rehearsals and have one spot that is currently open for a weekly ringer.
The United Methodist Women will host a two-day, indoor/outdoor Rummage Sale for Missions on two Saturdays in September from 9 am to 1 pm. The Sales will be held on September 11th and 18th.

On September 11, the Sewickley Harvest Festival returns. From 10 am to 1 pm, the Nurture Committee will be selling Walking Tacos from the church’s front lawn.
The Cookie Walk will be in a different month and day this year. We did so well outside, we are going to do it again on November 20.
On Sunday mornings in September, beginning September 13, the SUMC Education Committee will provide special programming for students in kindergarten through 5th grade during the 9 am contemporary worship service. There will be similar programming during the 11 am worship service.
UMCOR has issued grants for early response needs to Annual Conferences which experienced severe weather losses. As early assessments are done and long-term plans are formulated, further grants will be issued, and volunteer teams will be formed.
