If you are 11 years of age (or soon to be) or older, you are invited to come and learn about why church… why Jesus? Our time together will be structured as a time of learning and a time of fun, with snacks of course! We will meet every Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm for 6 weeks beginning June 16th.

This is for those who have participated in a number of studies about racism, who want to deepen their antiracism journey, who want to engage in antiracist action steps, and who are willing to commit to the significant amount of time this work requires.
The Luncheon Committee is offering monthly takeout meals. Each meal is $10 and proceeds benefit the church’s General Fund.

Families are invited to plant flowers on the church campus on either Saturday, May 15th, or Sunday, May 16th. Plants and shovels will be provided. Participants are asked to reserve a planting time so we can respect safe-distancing guidelines.
Please plan to join us to celebrate Mother’s Day with an outdoor Mother’s Day Sing-along at SUMC on Saturday, May 15th , 2:30 pm, in the SUMC parking lot with music, refreshments, fun, and fellowship.

About 12 children, age 6-12, who are part of a Wednesday and after-school program during the school year will spend each day at the Community Center during the summer.
Paper napkins, paper towels, facial tissue and food storage bags are the requested items.
