In keeping with tradition, Sunday school families are invited to plant flowers on the church campus on either Saturday, May 15th, or Sunday, May 16th.

Red Bird Mission would welcome items such as Upper Room devotions, Guidepost magazines, and other, similar devotional items to include with their food boxes given to local families.
The Women’s Morning Group will resume in the church library on Thursday, May 13th, at 10 am. The discussion topic will center on Sheila Walsh’s Bible Study “The Promises of God.”
The UMW are hosting a 2-day, indoor/outdoor Sale for Missions on two Saturdays in May from 9 am to 1 pm. The sale will be on May 15th and 22nd.
Western PA’s Reconciling Network invites you to a three hour online training event with worship, teaching, and conversation, Saturday, May 1, 9 am – Noon.
SUMC is providing 200 grab-n-go dinners for the patrons of the Center For Hope in Ambridge on Thursday, April 29.

On Saturday, April 24, starting at 8:30 am, we are looking for some folks to help spread fresh mulch.
Beginning May 2, and every Sunday till June 6th, we will be hosting a New Members/Curious Members class at 1 pm. The class will be held in-person and on Zoom. This 6-week course will talk about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus in this community and at Sewickley United Methodist Church.
In this 25th Anniversary celebration year, extra weeks are included with the Lenten Fines Calendar.
For the next 6 weeks, we are learning about animals in the Bible. This week, come learn about Jonah and the Big Fish.
United Methodism boasts 157 Native American congregations, and 53 of the 56 annual conferences have a Committee on Native American Ministries who resources, educates constituents about Native ministries, and distributes the annual conference Native American Ministries Sunday offering to Native ministries.
We are collecting individual servings of snacks for the Women’s Center and Shelter (crackers, cookies, nuts, breakfast bars, fruit snacks, individual cereals, granola bars, etc.).
Our May soup choices are Stuffed Pepper, Wedding, and Lentil (Vegetarian). Order by April 25.
The Luncheon Committee is offering monthly takeout meals. This month is featuring soft tacos.
