In keeping with tradition, Sunday school families are invited to plant flowers on the church campus on either Saturday, May 15th, or Sunday, May 16th. Plants and shovels will be provided, although families are invited to bring their own tools. The Fellowship of the Cross (FOTC) and the Education Committee will again host the event. Participants are asked to reserve a planting time so we can respect safe-distancing guidelines. Families can choose an hour time slot at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, or noon on Saturday, or 10:30 am or 12:15 pm on Sunday. Directions for planting (which flowers/which locations) will be provided. Contributions of flowers are welcomed and can be left at the church under the bushes at the back door during the week prior to planting. Financial contributions to offset the cost of additional flowers purchased are also gratefully accepted. Please mail, drop off, or use EasyTithe to make a monetary donation and designate it for "flower planting."
