The Bradley Center is a residential mental health treatment facility located in Robinson Township; church member Sarah Boward is a mental health therapist at the facility, which treats children ages 6 to 21. We are looking to provide gifts for 20 residents.
Pastor Hannah is working on finding a safe way for us to gather for Christmas Eve. Let’s help adorn the chancel with poinsettias for Christmas, whether we worship online or in person. Each 6 1/2" plant is $10 and orders are due by Tuesday, December 8. You may order online here.

As families are not being accepted into the program until at least March 2020, Family Promise would like to ready the Crafton location, which the families use during the day. Rooms need to be thoroughly cleaned, painted, decorated, etc. Areas need to be organized.
Annually, there are over 2,000 students, including a number from WPA, who receive millions of dollars in financial assistance through the UMC Office of Scholarships and Loans! Congregations and individuals provide a portion of the funding through gifts in recognition of United Methodist Student Day, World Communion Sunday, and Native American Ministries Sunday.
The YSF has assisted many youth programs in our Conference, our Nation, and our World. Two-thirds of the offerings received remain in WPA for distribution by the Conference Youth Ministry. Through the UMC's global YSF, UM teens raise money for other teens doing ministry in their churches and communities impacting poverty, illiteracy, absenteeism, and social justice.
As most physical mission trips have been put on hold, UMVIM has provided opportunities to go virtual and visit various mission areas around the globe. Check out a trip or two.
The WPAUMC is happy to announce that it is taking applications for a Young Adult Mission Journey to the Blackfeet Nation in Montana July 3-12, 2021.
To help patrons of the food pantry prepare Thanksgiving dinner, Outreach is asking that you fill a grocery bag with the non-perishable items that are traditionally used at Thanksgiving. Please take a bag with “grocery list” attached (see display table in sanctuary) – some are for small families, some for larger families. Purchase the items listed and return the filled bag to church.
Our church is very active, both in our own community, and in the world through connectional ministries. The letters of thanks we receive are a testament to our good works.
Because it seems unlikely that we will be gathering for worship in November, the Fellowship of the Cross will not be selling Christmas gifts from Ornaments 4 Orphans this year.
