On November 26th, SUMC will join with other United Methodists to observe Student Day and to accept donations to support United Methodist students in achieving their educational goals.
Join the Pittsburgh District Anti-Racism Team in a discussion-based study on how racism impacts our daily lives and what we can do to promote equity in our communities.

Western PA’s Reconciling Network invites you to a three hour online training event with worship, teaching, and conversation, Saturday, May 1, 9 am – Noon.
After spending a month visiting Old Testament heroes, Ms. Laura leads us into the New Testament to spend time with Thomas in this week’s Children’s Church lesson, which will be live-streamed Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

Sunday, September 5th is designated by Western PA Annual Conference for this special offering, which supports the educational ministries of the Conference, which include Training and Resources and Laity Scholarships. Please use the “blue” envelopes located in the pews and on the information table, or mark your check/envelope “Christian Ed” and include with your regular offering. The Safety & Security Ministry is hosting AED training on Monday, February 24, 7 pm in the Simpson Room; Scott Spencer will instruct. All are welcome to attend, in fact, the more people who know how to use the AED, the better protected we are at saving a life.
Sunday School will kick off its new year with classes for all ages this Sunday, September 10th, at 10:00 am. Everyone, preschool through adult, is welcome to join in study, discussion, and fellowship.
