Beginning June 9th at 6:00 pm, there will be a New Members Class offered via Zoom and/or in person. The class will run every Monday through July 14th with new members being received on July 20th at both services.

Spanish Class is back in full swing on Sundays at 6:00 PM in the Simpson Room. All are welcome to come and enjoy; no experience is necessary! Any questions or concerns, please reach out.
There will be a Congregational Meeting held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 18th, to discuss how we can support the growth of the kids in our church, and those not yet here, through the hiring of a Coordinator of Christian Education.
As we accelerate into Vacation Bible School planning season, our most urgent need is finding a snack person, a snack team, or a snack family.
The Children’s Church kids, as is our tradition, will be planting flowers around the Sewickley UMC campus on Sunday, May 18, during the 9:00 am and 11:00 am worship services.
The SUMC Education team, as part of our Mother’s Day worship service at 10:00 am on May 11th, is providing an opportunity to praise God and honor the mothers and others who have provided for us through the years.
We would like to thank and applaud everyone who contributed love and energy to the nursery, Children’s Church and the Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday in April.
The Children did an amazing job with the Lenten prompt, “Sensing God’s Grace.” Their artwork is still on display in the Simpson Room, and we highly encourage you to look at them, read them, and experience the feelings and thoughts they expressed on paper.
All are welcome to participate in a four-week series on United Methodist history entitled “Radicle Methodism 2025: Dive into United Methodist Roots.”
The Vacation Bible School team has set the dates for this year’s “Block Party” as August 3–6th. We will gather from 6:00–8:00 pm each evening.
Join us in celebrating with 8 of our youth as they are confirmed on April 20th, Easter Sunday, during both worship services.
The Easter egg hunt will be held on the SUMC lawns between services on Easter Sunday (April 20). This requires many hands. We have two opportunities for volunteers:
Attention! Spanish Classes will be cancelled until after Easter. Returning on April 27th, Spanish classes will resume weekly on Sundays from 6:00–7:00 pm in the Simpson Room.
On April 26th, at 7:00 pm, our Youth Group will meet and enjoy a spring-filled night with a movie, plant potting, and Growing in Faith!
All are welcome to participate in a four-week series on United Methodist history each Tuesday evening, April 29 through May 20, beginning at 6:00 pm in the Simpson Room.
The Add1 Lenten prayer window of the week, as selected by the 9:00 am Children’s church kids, is as follows: “Children.”
