The Film Club returns for a new season with a Pittsburgh theme — we will be watching movies filmed in the Pittsburgh region and starring actors with Pittsburgh roots. Our Saturday, September 9, 6 pm movie is Lorenzo's Oil, a 1992 American drama filmed primarily in Pittsburgh. It is based on the true story of two parents in a relentless search for a cure for their son Lorenzo's adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). We meet in the parlor. Everyone is welcome!
