Please continue to pray for those whose lives have been impacted by hurricane/tropical storm Harvey. Please also pray for the Early Response Teams, disaster coordinators, and many volunteers in the following UMC Annual Conferences: Texas, Louisiana, Río Texas, and Central Texas who are working tirelessly to provide relief after Harvey.
UMCOR (United Methodist Committee On Relief) has already sent 1,000 cleaning buckets to Texas, and more relief supplies will follow as disaster response teams deploy. The Sewickley UMC Outreach Committee will be sending committee funds to Eastbrook Mission Barn to assist with costs of transporting relief kits from WPA to UMCOR’s main depot in Louisiana.
