If you knew my grandfather, you would know that he was a man of few words, but when he spoke, people listened. Have you ever known someone who just talks too much, such that even if there is value to what they are saying, it gets lost in the words? Ecclesiastes, which is known as one of the books in the Bible considered “wisdom literature,” has the tendency to talk too much. But at the end they seem to recognize this truth and sum it all up for us. What truly matters in this life is the type of wisdom worth seeking after. What might that wisdom be?
