We began our series by acknowledging our weariness and asking, “How does a weary world rejoice?” As we bring this series to an end, we recognize that our ultimate ability to rejoice lies in our understanding that we belong to God. Just as God claimed Jesus for all to hear upon his baptism, so to God has claimed us and has called us beloved.
