Every hero story in scripture has a sidekick. All the movers and shakers, though they have a single call that often belongs to them alone, they also have support. They have people surrounding them and the comfort of knowing they are not alone. This is the fulfillment of God’s promise; God will always be with us. God does not call us and then send us all on our own.
