The Sewickley Community Food Pantry continues to need child-friendly foods during the summer months, especially pasta sauce, tomato sauce, pancake mix, syrup, ketchup, mayonnaise, cooking oils, peanut butter, jelly, and jam.
The United Women in Faith (UWF) will host a Rummage Sale for Missions on Friday, September 6, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm and on Saturday, September 7, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
August 18th at 4:00 pm, we will have a joint outdoor service with the churches of Sewickley Presbyterian, St. Matthews AME Zion, St Paul’s Lutheran, and SUMC followed by a picnic.

The goals for the committee in 2024 are to continue to honor Mr. Patton’s requests for the library space while accommodating our church family needs and interests.
Hopefully, most of the SUMC family is aware the Leadership Board of SUMC set several “God Sized” goals for 2024, including a significant increase in congregational giving by approximately $38,000 or 15%.
On Saturday, June 15, eight volunteers from SUMC distributed fresh produce to residents of Northview Heights.

All the children are invited to join us Sunday (July 14) on the SUMC lawn at 10:00 am (between services) for a pre-VBS party.
