SUMC and Church Union are coordinating to collect NEW winter coats, jackets, hats, scarves, mittens, and gloves for needy children (toddlers through teens) in the Pittsburgh area.
The Fellowship of the Cross is inviting everyone into our Operation Christmas Child packing opportunities this weekend. We will be gathering in the Sunday school rooms to pack shoeboxes from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday, October 23, and again from 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday, October 24. Children will be given an opportunity to pack boxes during Children’s Church in the worship services on October 24.
The Nurture Committee’s annual Cookie Walk will be held on Saturday, November 20, 9 - 11 am, in the Simpson Room.

The Borough of Sewickley is holding their Halloween parade on Saturday, October 30th, at 10 a.m. We would like to get as many church members as we can to walk in the parade carrying posters and signs thanking the community for 20 years of support for our pumpkin patch.
