We regret that due to the resurgence of COVID-19 cases in our area, we have decided to cancel our plans for Vacation Bible School this year. Even with the extra measures we were planning to take, we’ve decided that it will be best to not put our children and volunteers at any risk.
Join us on an adventure to the Knights of North Castle as we explore the Quest for the King’s Armor. Our knights will discover how God’s strength empowers them to accept the call to wear the Armor of God as they live out a call for truth, justice, peace and a life of faith with God.
This Sunday, June 28 at 11:30 am, everyone is invited to attend a VBS Planning Meeting in the Simpson Room. The celebration of Black History Month began as “Negro History Week,” which was created in 1926 by Carter G. Woodson, a noted African American historian, scholar, educator and publisher. It became a month-long
celebration in 1976. February was chosen to coincide with the birthdays of Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln.
