As a member of the Education and Worship committees, I would like to thank Pastor Hannah, our worship leaders, and our church family for creating space and supporting multiple voices throughout the summer. Our worship services have included powerful personal testimony from Grace R., Chad W. and Erik K., Lynn C., and Karlie M., a visitor, and recent seminary graduate. Each voice brought light and insight into challenges faced by many of us: anxiety, fear, abuse, and exclusion. Each summer voice brought light and insight into hope and peace found in the love of Jesus and church family. I am thrilled that all of us, including our youngest hearts, were able to hear these stories of courage, strength, and faith. I would encourage anyone who feels they have a testimony to share to begin a conversation with Pastor Hannah to explore the possibilities. We lift each other when we share our truth and experiences.
