We will have a guest speaker, Karlie McWilliams, on June 28th. You can learn a little more about Karlie here.
Karlie McWilliams is a native Pittsburgher who bleeds black and gold. She grew up a United Methodist and has always been active in her church. A decade ago, Karlie realized she could no longer live a lie and, after much wrestling with God and her faith, she decided to transition. Karlie has been living as her true self, a woman, for eight years now, but no one was more surprised than she when God called her to seminary. She graduated in May of 2026 from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. While she hopes eventually to pursue a doctorate in Theology and Trauma, she is currently in candidacy for ordination as a deacon in the UMC and is a member of Monroeville United Methodist Church.
