This year we continue our tradition of collecting Christmas gifts and NEW hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, and socks for the children and youth at Kidcelerate (formerly Bethany House) in the Northview Heights neighborhood in Pittsburgh. Sizes from toddler to adult are requested. These may be placed on the mitten tree in the sanctuary after the hanging of the greens. In addition, we will be collecting gifts for each child who participates in Kidcelerate’s Learning Hub after-school program. Cards and tags will be available in early December before and after the Sunday services or in the church office during the week. The date on when those need to be returned will be coming soon. Kidcelerate is an affiliate of the United Methodist Church Union. For more information about Kidcelerate, see: https://kidcelerate.org/
