To help patrons of the food pantry prepare Thanksgiving dinner, Outreach is inviting you to fill a grocery bag with the non-perishable items traditionally used at Thanksgiving. Purchase the items listed on the grocery bags provided and return the filled bag to SUMC. There are grocery lists for both small families and large families. Monetary donations are also needed to purchase grocery gift cards so that the families may purchase turkey and other perishable items. Monetary gifts may be made with your regular offering or through SUMC’s online eGiving portal—please indicate “Thanksgiving Bags.” All donations are due no later than Sunday, November 15th.
