The Lay Servant Ministry Team of the Pittsburgh District invites you to a special retreat at Olmsted Manor Retreat Center, November 21–23, 2025.
Together, we will grow in faith as we explore Bishop Steiner Ball’s recommended book study selections: While the World Watched by Carolyn Maull McKinstry and The Watsons Go to Birmingham – 1963 by Christopher Paul Curtis. This retreat will be a time to learn from one another, build skills for leading meaningful discussions, enjoy fellowship and connection, and find rest and renewal in the beauty of Olmsted Manor.
This retreat counts as an advanced course for Lay Servant Ministries, but is open to anyone.
