Our collective “WOW” reverberated. The first “WOW” rose after we saw your Operation Christmas Child contributions beneath the Christmas tree in the sanctuary after our 9:00 am worship service on July 20th. There was an another “WOW” after the 11:00 am service, and a third “WOW” when we found more gifts beneath the tree on Tuesday evening. There will be another flurry of “WOW” in distant corners of the world at Christmas when children open their OCC shoe boxes and feel the love of Jesus in the school supplies, stuffed animals, toys, and other gifts you donated. You are bringing joy to the world through your generosity.

The FOTC, coordinating our OCC campaign for the 15th consecutive year, is grateful for your support. Thank you! We have filled more than 1,500 boxes since 2011, and we are overwhelmed and encouraged by your continuing partnership in this ministry. The next “WOW” opportunity will arrive with the OCC packing party, which we will host September 28th between worship services in the Simpson Room. All are welcome. We pack 100 or more boxes every year, so many hands are needed. Christmas in July supplied many of our needs, but not everything. We will accept contributions through September 28th. It will take a few weeks to inventory all you contributed in July, but we will have an updated wish list to share sometime in August.
