We need toothbrushes! The FOTC youth have inventoried your Christmas-in-July gifts, and we are grateful for all you contributed to our 2025 OCC campaign. Your response was incredibly generous, but we still have a few needs as we move to our September 28 packing party. The SUMC family has packed more than 1,500 boxes since 2011, including at least 100 boxes in 14 consecutive years. Every SUMC box has at least one toothbrush. We need more than 30 toothbrushes to meet our needs this year.

We would also welcome glue sticks, pens, markers, colored pencils, crayons, and school notebooks that fit into a shoe box. Pencil boxes or zippered pencil bags would be helpful, too. We have reached our targets for pencils, rulers, scissors, and erasers of all sizes. Thank you! Sunglasses, T-shirts, dolls, balls, small toys, simple jewelry, hair accessories, combs, brushes, bandanas, and adhesive bandages are also welcome. Imagination is also encouraged, but remember we cannot accept liquids, aerosol cans, candy or food, toothpaste, anything that reflects the military or violence, glass or breakable items, or used/damaged items.

The packing party will be held between worship services on September 28. All are welcome. We supply the shoe boxes! Our collection boxes are located in the hallway to the library and in the narthex. For more information, see Grace Rogansky or Bill Utterback.
