After a vigorous inventory of everything on our Operation Christmas Child shelves, The Fellowship of the Cross youth have formed a wish list for our 2025 campaign. Here’s what we would like to see beneath the tree this Sunday in our Christmas in July worship services:

🎄Crayons, markers, colored pencils, and pens

🎄Rulers with a metric edge

🎄School notebooks

🎄Children’s scissors

🎄Pencil sharpeners

🎄Sunglasses

🎄Toothbrushes (but no toothpaste)

🎄T-shirts

🎄Socks for 2–4 year olds

🎄Hair accessories, combs, brushes, and children's jewelry

🎄Dolls, balls, trucks, cars, and toys that fit easily into a shoe box

Through your generosity, we have received plenty of the following items: washcloths, socks for older children, stuffed animals, erasers of all sizes, and notebooks. We cannot accept any liquids, anything edible, or anything suggesting war or violence. In both services, Pastor Hannah will create a moment for everyone to bring their gifts forward.

This is our 15th OCC Campaign, and our Sewickley UMC family has filled 100 or more boxes every year since 2012. Our boxes have reached children in Ukraine, Africa, South America, Central America, the Caribbean and nations that can't be disclosed for security reasons. FOTC will continue to collect contributions through the end of September. Details of our annual packing party will be released soon. All are welcome.
