Next Sunday, June 11 at 10:30 am, we will gather with our siblings from St. Matthews AME Zion Church for a single worship service in the SUMC sanctuary. During the service, we will be recognizing our graduates: (high school) Austin Hiles, Sophia Geason, Kaylee Kennedy, Blair McCombs, and Addison Shaffer, and (college) Nina Wiggins, Noah Wiggins, and Lia Warburton. Our annual picnic will follow the service.
Please come to our annual church picnic where we break bread with our family at St. Matthews AME Zion Church. We will provide the beef and veggie burgers and hotdogs.
Time: Gather at 12:30; prayer and the feast begin at 1:00 pm
Where: War Memorial Park, Shelter #1 (Blackburn Road, pass YMCA, make left into lot after paddle courts)
Bring: Lawn chairs (available seating is limited) and a side dish or dessert to share. If you have kids, there is a playground and creek access, so you may want to bring water shoes and towels as well.
Expect: FUN!!! FOOD!!! and Bingo, of course
