We are happy to announce the start of the 7th season of Soup & Hummus Sales. This grassroots effort was started by Donna Sawhill, Sandy Kuriger, Sandra Lane, and Pam Honeychurch to help raise funds to pay down the debt on the sanctuary loan. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers who made soup during our 2021-2022 season (Donna, Sandy, Pam, Jenine Furry, Pat Grossarth, Bill Kuriger, Jr., and Susie Moffett) and hummus (Sandra), and to the many wonderful supporters of this sale over the years, so far $26,555.15 has been raised and applied to the loan principal!! Biblically, the number 7 is used to communicate a sense of completeness. Carrying on with that thought, this 7th year of Soup & Hummus will be our final year, and we look forward to finishing on a high note. Thank you for your continued support and for helping take a big chunk out of the loan.
