The United Methodist Women (UMW) is now United Women in Faith (UWF). The organization's higher level leadership has taken a new name to better reflect, in its opinion, how we answer our calling today. We remain united in love in our mission to support women, children, and youth, whether we attend a traditional Methodist church or a reconciling Methodist church.
Whatever name we go by, please note that the women in our unit thank everyone who made our spring Rummage Sale for Missions a huge success. We held the Sale for Missions on Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7, and continued it on Saturday, May 14. We raised $2,244, which included $515 in monetary donations. The entire amount will be donated to missions our unit supports. We thank everyone who helped by donating items to sell, by setting up, by selling, by buying, by donating money, by cleaning up, and everything else connected to the event.
