SUMC will not be assembling full cleaning kits, but the Eastbrook Mission Barn Supply Depot needs the following NEW items that are frequently missing from the kits. With recent storms throughout the USA, cleaning kits are in great need. During the month of July, SUMC will accept donations of:
Pump-style (not aerosol) insect repellant (you may find this in seasonal items, as well as hunting, camping, or disinfecting/cleaning supply areas of stores such as Walmart)
Clothes line – must say clothes line, not just rope – 50 ft to 100 ft (Dollar Tree may have 70 foot clothes line)
Latex Re-usable Gloves (You may find these at Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Big Lots, etc.)
If you are unable to shop but wish to donate funds for the purchase of these items, mark your gift “UMCOR Kit”. You may place your donations in the basket outside of the church office.
