Riverfront Park, 300 Chadwick Street, Sewickley, PA 15143

A favorite spot—most of us have one, chosen from the locations to which our life travels have led us. Bill Gittins proved no exception. His choice, a strip of neighborhood in the town of Sewickley, wedged in between the Ohio River on one side and its namesake boulevard on the other, lived in Bill’s heart as a most favorite place in the world. Starting out as a verdant ribbon of land, where he ran as a boy and ambled as a teenager, the site became a memory that Bill carried with him into adulthood.

And now, as a bona fide park and at his request, Bill’s favorite place provides the perfect spot for a service in his honor.
