Today our pumpkins arrived, filling a full semi, and we are so thankful to all of the volunteers, many of whom aren’t part of our church family, who helped to unload the truck.
The Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser business asks us to do 3 things: unload the truck, keep the patch open 8 hours each day, and not to discount the pumpkins.
They provide the pumpkins and ship them to us free of cost, and for our agreement with them, we receive a percentage of the sales.
Despite the positive feedback that helped us decide to have a Pumpkin Patch this year, we’re struggling to find volunteers to run the Patch. Even today, we are only half covered.
