Sewickley United Methodist is gearing up for our third annual trip to Creation Fest in Mt Union, PA, one of the largest Christian Music Festivals in the nation with headlining acts like Crowder, Tenth Avenue North, Mandisa, and Skillet this year. Creation Fest 2019 will be on Wednesday, June 26th through Saturday, June 29th. The main group will plan to leave Wednesday late morning and return on Sunday, June 30th by early afternoon. Everyone is welcome to come with us, but we especially encourage the youth to attend this fun week of Christian music, fellowship, and worship. We camp in tents while we are there and bring food to cover breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
Tickets will cost $125 for adults, $50 for youth ages 14-18, and $25 for kids from 7-13 (note, kids under 12 need an adult to come with them). The youth group is planning to cover the balance of the price for the youth, but that may be subject to change depending on how our budget and fundraising go this winter. I am asking for a $25 deposit to reserve a ticket for kids or youth and a $50 deposit for adults with payment in full expected by May 1st. We can work out payment plans and scholarships as needed, so just let us know. This cost will include your ticket to the entire festival, as well as our camp site, breakfast, lunch, and snacks each day. Additional money will be needed for dinner and merchandise as desired. Also, if you prefer to stay in a hotel as a family, you will be responsible for that on your own. Please let us know in the next few days if you want to reserve a ticket. If you aren’t sure now, we can get additional tickets later on, but the price goes up as the festival approaches, so these costs are only accurate until the end of the week.
