Because we are all claimed as God’s beloved children, the Sewickley United Methodist Church is hosting a worship service this coming Saturday, June 24th, at 6:00 pm, in the sanctuary, celebrating diversity and God’s unconditional love for all. The theme is “Loving Out Loud.” Friends and allies are encouraged to attend, supporting our LGBTQ community. Jeff Miller, former United Methodist pastor, will bring the evening message, and our praise band, Leap of Faith, will lead the celebratory music. A time of refreshment and fellowship will follow the service.
Our church adamantly and enthusiastically welcomes persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities (the entire LGBTQ community) to attend, join, and participate fully in the life of our congregation. We celebrate “Open hearts. Open minds. Open doors.”
